After escaping from an Australian maximum-security prison in broad daylight, Lin finds sanctuary in Bombay. Becoming immersed in the culture of the local slum, Lin tries desperately to give what he can back to the community that has sheltered him. However, gaining employment in the services of gangsters, Lin's criminal past and present may come back to haunt him.
