Description
After the collapse of civilization, society has reverted to medieval beliefs and structures. The worst offense thinkable is to consume the sweet-tasting Chisa flower, too tempting for many children to resist, so they are exiled. Banding together, the children learn to live in isolation in the mountains, using the land to survive, and discovering that the reason the Chisa flower is forbidden is because it brings vision of the truth.
