This is a novel by Jacqueline Woodson that is semi-autobiographical and will likely appeal to adult readers of Brown Girl Dreaming.

Kristin is currently reading this P&P "remix." She had been excited about reading it because she is a Jane Austen fan...but went out and bought it (which she never ever does, she's a librarian) when she read the author's Twitter post about an offensive Wall Street Journal review. The Twitter post is included, below. Kristin also enjoyed the author's first book, American Street.
