    [synopsis] => In this short write up, I am going to elaborate only on the essence of Karna's (the glorious son of the Sun) struggle and his most significant battle in the last days of Mahabharata, the great epic of India. For the sake of brevity and focus on the topic, I am going to assume that readers are already aware and have read about the great epic of Mahabharata, and have read at least one account of Karna's character, his life and times. There have been numerous accounts in the form of published books, online articles, websites and other channels of publication, that have been authored by many learned authors and commentators and hence I am not going to repeat the traditional, anecdotal, historical references which have been documented and depicted earlier.

Rather, I am simply going to make a humble attempt to lay out my own reflections and insights which came to me or I felt about Karna and his glorious struggles. I hope you may find some resonance with it.

Again, just a disclaimer that, I am not and do not claim to be an expert on neither the great epic itself, nor the characters depicted in it. I do not claim that I know the truth as to what could have happened. I am also not writing to present alternative facts or to dispute any previously made claims or interpretations. What I intend to present is simply my own independent reflections on some of the events in Karna's life and I am restricting myself to only a select few. I do seek your pardon in advance, for the long, intertwined sentences as I chose to keep them as they came to me.
