Description
In an isolated village in Extremadura (Spain), the Jiménez and Fuentes families have a violent history of land disputes, jealousy, envy, and violence. The matriarch of one of two feuding clans presses her family to avenge real and imagined injustices. Based on events which took place in Puerto Hurraco, a village in Benquerencia de la Serena municipality in the Province of Badajoz, Spain on August 26, 1990.
