Patterns are designs that show the same thing over and over. When shapes or colors are repeated, we see a pattern. Some patterns are made by people, and some can be seen in the world around us. Some patterns are made with colors and lines. Other patterns are made with words or numbers or sounds. What patterns can you see and hear?

Cats like to hide, and sometimes they get lost. Everyone in Grace's family helped her to hunt for Leo when he was missing. They tried to cheer her up when she was unhappy. Where do you think Leo was hiding?

Have you been flying? Paulo always loved flying. When he was young, he watched things that could fly, and he liked to make things fly. When he learned to be a pilot, he always wanted to go higher and higher.

We all need to use numbers in our lives every day, for counting and measuring and shopping. As well as being fun, playing games is a good way to get quicker at working with numbers. We can try to work out puzzles and tricks more quickly than our friends. There are good ways to count fast, too. Sometimes we even count down like space rockets!

We like pockets on our clothes. Have you got a pocket? What is in it? What else do we put in our pockets? What do adults put in their pockets?

Everyone in this story is hungry. The Three Billy Goats Gruff want to cross a bridge to eat some sweet green grass. But, under the bridge is a big bad, troll. He wants to eat them up. Can they cross the bridge?

There are many different kinds of dogs. Some dogs are pets. Other dogs work to help people. They are all different sizes and shapes.

Can you whisper with a very quiet voice? Some animals don't make any noise at all. Do you know which animals have no voice? What else is very quiet?

This story is about some bad pirates who were very greedy. They always wanted more money and more food. Some clever animals thought of a good way to teach them a lesson. What do you think the animals did to the greedy pirates?

The wool that grows on a sheep is used for many things. Do you know some ways we use wool? Farmers cut the wool off their sheep every year, then the sheep grow new wool. Do you think they like having their wool cut?
